well, we got used to it. the bedroom sort of became our cave, especially in the fall and early winter. but as the bitter cold and gray wore on, the room was just too much. it was sad and sleepy and reminded me of a sigur rós song. it had to go.

so in february, i stared at this for a few days straight:

i ultimately chose "ponder." it has made a world of difference. and as spring pulls into the station, we're digging our new room. 

note: our good camera is in the camera-hospital.

don't judge my hospital tv. and please pray it never falls on one of the animals.
